About

The road to our heart is filled

with fur and paw prints

Remember the day you brought your new bundle of joy home? Those first few sleepless nights, until they settled in their new home? Your home and then in your heart!

How you had to hide all your lovely shoes and give them your full attention or they found a way to entertain themselves, usually by pinching stuff out of your dirty laundry?

Remember, how you felt these days will never end?

And then you blink and your dog is a mature 5 year old, half way through it’s life span and you just cannot imagine your life without them.

They bring you most profound joyful moments and make the world a better place to live in.

They know exactly how you feel, love you unconditionally and with no expectations, they simply adore you and you them!

They are your most loyal friend,

They give you strength, support,

They fill your heart with memories and joy…

At times, you feel like they can actually see inside your soul!

They make you whole…you feel like you belong…

And loving you is their purpose and their ultimate reward…

I tell your tale, pausing this crazy fast paced world,

Capturing the precious fleeting moments

and

Eternalising the memories for decades to come.

So when in the future you look back on these images,

Your heart gets filled with a warm feeling of love,

Happy memories and joy

And you are instantly taken back in time

To that joyful moment in your life

Where you feel like you’ve just came home…

Each one of us has a story …

below I share mine

And I would be honoured to capture yours!

From the age of 12 and for almost a decade, I was blessed to have a best friend in my life. This wonderful being taught me how to care, respect and work as a team, how to be a partner and trust one another, knowing we had each other’s back.

She was my confidante, my pillar of support, my partner in crime.

She was my guard and protector, always by my side.

Where I went, she went…

Without her, I would be lost.

She gave me courage and strength, she brought me joy. She was my absolute everything.

You see, my best friend was one of a kind and had very distinctive features – she had piercing soulful eyes and pointy ears, four long legs and a beautiful hairy face and twenty years on, a day doesn’t go by that I don’t miss her presence in my life. That is the infinite power of true love.

When I feel especially nostalgic, I get lost in happy memories, and the handful of photographs we have together are my passage back to that feeling of her beside me.
